Here’s a tip for that wonderful smelling, warm, delicious and absolutely lovely clean laundry – fold the laundry as it comes out of the dryer. Doing this will not only reduce the risk of wrinkles, but it also greatly reduces the risk of clothes ending up tossed on the floor or a chair or the top of the dresser or at the end of the bed which will eventually end up on the floor or… you get the idea. I think laundry that’s just piled on top of each other somehow creates more laundry. Like, it multiplies on its own. I’m not sure how, but when there’s a pile of laundry on the couch, I swear it just gets bigger and bigger every time I walk by. And then there’s that one sock that is just gone…. I have no explanation for that one.
So, whether you have a designated folding area in the laundry room or you have to use the couch, kitchen table, or kitchen counter, do yourself a favor and fold your clothes.
